10.4 electronic kits have a more extensive track stack mixer configuration, with busses for each general kit type.10.5 is not, since its using a separate instrument plugin for each pad. 10.4 is using the AUX-track-trick for each subtrack of the track stack.10.4 uses a single UltraBeat plugin instance that is hosting all the DMD pads and samples through one instrument channel, while 10.5 is using a separate instance of QSampler for each pad, one one hosted on its own instrument channel.Its just that 10.4 is hosting the samples in ultrabeat, and 10.5 is hosting them in QSampler. Presumably the same samples for the same named patches. 10.4 uses Ultrabeat, 10.5 uses QSampler.So am just looking a little deeper at the old 10.4 electronic kit patches vs the 10.5 versions.
